Police release surveillance images in N. Charleston Dollar General armed robbery

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston Police released two surveillance images Tuesday in connection with an armed robbery at a Dollar General.

Officers responded to the store on 7530 Kirkpatrick Lane around 8 p.m. Monday for a robbery.

An employee said that the suspect entered the store armed with a gun.  According to police, the suspect demanded the wallet of a customer inside the store and then money from the store register.

The suspect reportedly stole $200 from the victim and $300 from the store.

He then fled the business in an unknown direction.

NCPD officials describe the suspect as having a slender build, 5'10'', and wearing a black jacket, jeans, with a black and white mask or handkerchief that covered his face.
