Teenager identified in fatal Highway 41 wreck

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) -

The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified a teenager who died in a wreck on Highway 41.

Faith Dutton, 16, died at the Medical University of South Carolina at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday, according to the Coroner's Office.

Dutton died as a result of injuries sustained in the wreck, they say.

Highway 41 was shut down for a little over four hours as crews worked the scene.

Mount Pleasant police say the incident was between Joe Rouse Road and Highway 17.
