As a cold front continues to move through the Upstate today, on and off showers and storms remain a possibility with much smaller chances in the western North Carolina mountains.
The day will bring a mix of clouds and sunshine and highs around 80. Expect higher humidity, more cloud cover, and more rain in areas south of I-85, and less for areas north of it.
Tonight brings a few showers as the front makes its final push through. Wednesday will be one of our drier days of the week with some sunshine, highs in the 80s and an isolated shower or two.
Meanwhile, a weak tropical system will move inland to the Gulf Coast throughout the next couple days.
We’ll be on the extreme northeast edge of it in the Carolinas which will only mean on and off rain on Thursday and Friday, followed by a cold front set to move through Saturday and Sunday providing a few more showers and storms to the area.
Monday marks the return of sunnier drier weather.
