DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A Dorchester County man has been sentenced in a 2015 double murder, according to Stacey Cook with the First Circuit Solicitor's Office.
On Friday, a Dorchester County Jury convicted James A. Biggs, 24, of two counts of murder.
Biggs was sentenced to life in prison for each count that will run concurrent, according to Cook.
Biggs was arrested on Dec. 16, 2015, for the murders of Jamal Armstrong and Tyrell Miles that occurred on Nov. 30, 2015, in the Greenhurst Subdivision.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant Solicitor Sheila Mims and Assistant Solicitor Don Sorenson. Detective Adam Smith from the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office was the lead investigator on the case.
