CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Do you like pancakes? You can get a free short stack of them just by going to IHOP on Tuesday.
As part of National Pancake Day, IHOP is giving away free pancakes to celebrate. From 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at participating restaurants, dine-in customers can each get one free short stack of pancakes. In exchange for the free food, IHOP is asking all customers to consider making a donation to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals for Children or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All the money raised stays within the individual communities, the restaurant says.
Since the annual tradition began in 2006, IHOP has raised nearly $30 million. This year, the restaurant chain hopes to raise $3.5 million nationwide for charity.
