Investigators with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office are continuing their search for a missing Moncks Corner man.

Authorities are looking for 20-year-old Tyreek Jawaun Pettigrew from Ulmer Lane.

Deputies describe him as 5'10" and 150 pounds.

According to the sheriff's office, he was last seen at the Fuel Express in Moncks Corner on Feb 21.

If you have any information you are asked to call the sheriff's office at 843-719-4465.

On Tuesday, the sheriff's office released the incident report on Pettigrew's disappearance.

The investigation began on Feb. 22 when a deputy responded to an address on Ulmer Lane to relay a message to Pettigrew's mother that her car was on fire in the Cainhoy area of Charleston County.

The deputy said he later returned to the home to file a missing person report on Tyreek Pettigrew.

According to the sheriff's office, the mother said she last saw her son at 9 a.m. on Feb. 21 inside of his car at a home on Ulmer Lane in Moncks Corner. She said he was by himself at the time.

The mother said her neighbor saw Tyreek's car earlier in the night at the El Cheapo gas station on Highway 17-A and 52 occupied by an unknown subject that was not Tyreek. The neighbor said they spotted the vehicle between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.

Investigators say Tyreek's cell phone was pinged off of Jedburg Road at Whitehouse Road.

According to BCSO officials, Tyreek's car was recovered by Charleston police the day after he was reported missing.

The sheriff's office is continuing their search for Tyreek.
