A Mount Pleasant woman has been sentenced Wednesday in federal court.

Judy Villanyi, 48, has been sentence to five months for bank fraud, failure to file and obstruction.

Authorities also previously said Villanyi failed to file tax returns for calendar years 2010 through 2012

The case was investigated by special agents with the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation, and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
