CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A traffic stop led to the discovery of nearly three thousand dollars worth of marijuana near Lincolnville.
Charleston County Sheriff's Office officials say a deputy pulled a car over for a traffic violation on Owens Drive.
The officer says she noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
When the car was searched deputies say they recovered 291 grams of marijuana along with a firearm. The street value of the marijuana is estimated at $2,910.
Gary Jordan, II was arrested and booked into the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center.
He was charged with possession with intent to distribute illegal drugs and illegal possession of a firearm.
Deputies say Jordan was also wanted by the South Carolina Probation and Parole Department.
