CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston will be going green a week ahead of St. Patrick's Day.
The St. Paddy's Day Block Party and Parade will start at noon, and continue until 6 p.m.
It will include live music on three stages, food vendors, a Kid's Zone, adult beverages and more. The parade along East Montague Avenue also starts at noon.
There will be plenty of activities for the kids including jump castles. Also, several different musical groups will perform throughout the day.
The Block Party will kick off with a parade at noon, led by North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey. There will also be plenty of food to purchase as well as adult beverages.

East Montague Ave. will close between Virginia Ave. and Jenkins Ave. at 9 a.m. and remain closed until 7 p.m. The stretch of East Montague between Park Place and Jenkins will close at 11:30 a.m. and reopen after the parade.
