Police: Report that caused Berkeley High School lockdown 'unfounded'

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (AP/WCSC) - A Berkeley County high school was placed on a brief lockdown Tuesday.

The Berkeley County School District announced at 2:47 p.m.  Berkeley County High School was placed on lockdown while law enforcement responds to an incident in the area.

At 2:56 p.m., the school district law enforcement determined the report indicating an incident occurring was unfounded and that the lockdown was lifted
