CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the Lowcountry.
It will take effect Friday morning at 2 a.m. and is scheduled to end at 8 a.m.
The warning is for Charleston, Colleton, inland Berkeley, and Dorchester counties.
Cities affected include Charleston, North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Walterboro, St. George, Summerville, Goose Creek and Moncks Corner.
Temperatures are expected to fall to freezing late Thursday night with temps in the low 30s.
We're expected to warm above freezing following sunrise.
Make sure to bring pets inside and cover any outdoor vegetation or unprotected plumbing if possible.
