Mt. Pleasant crews investigating single-vehicle accident which put SUV in pond

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Mt. Pleasant crews pulled an SUV from a pond on Sunday afternoon.

The vehicle was involved in a single-vehicle accident when the driver went off the road, but wasn't injured, according to Mount Pleasant police spokesman Chip Googe.

It happened in the Oyster Point neighborhood of Mount Pleasant off Hamlin Sound Circle.

Charleston County Sheriff's Office dive team assisted with the effort.
