CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The victim of a shooting Wednesday morning drove to North Charleston city hall to notify officers.
Shots were fired around 9:30 a.m. in the area of Norman and Allway streets which left the victim with a gunshot graze to her arm, according to Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis.
The victim and the offender are girlfriends and have a history of domestic issues, according to Francis. She was leaving the area in her vehicle and the offender fired several rounds as the victim's vehicle was driving away, Francis said.
Charleston police are securing the warrants for the offender's arrest, Francis said.
