NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - Ashley Phosphate Road is open again between Southrail Road and Palmetto Commerce Parkway.

The road was closed early Monday morning after an accident involving a tractor-trailer and a train, according to the North Charleston police department.

Traffic in the area is being redirected as drivers are asked to take Dorchester Road as an alternate route.

No injuries have been reported, North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor said.
