Teen gets 4 years after Facebook Live video watched by cops

COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - A 19-year-old felon who made a Facebook video of himself packing marijuana and handling an assault rifle that was watched live by a South Carolina police officer has been sentenced to four years in prison.

A federal indictment says a Colleton County deputy who investigates gangs was monitoring Dominique Manigo's Facebook page when the teen began streaming live video last April.

Authorities say more guns were found in Manigo's Walterboro home. A camera on a pole that deputies installed to keep an eye on Manigo's neighborhood confirmed where he lived and what happened in the Facebook video.

Manigo already had felony convictions for burglary and failure to stop for a blue light. He pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm last year and was sentenced Monday.
