Middleton Place hosts annual 'Easter Eggstravaganza'

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - More than 1,000 visitors spent part of their Saturday at Middleton Place for its annual Easter celebration.

The Easter Eggstravaganza began at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with events that included Easter Brunch in the Pavilion, egg dyeing, crafts and story time for children.

There were three Easter egg hunts for children in different age groups, an Egg Roll and Egg Toss.

Hidden among the real eggs were ceramic prize eggs that are handmade by the Middleton Place resident potter, and any child who found one received a prize.
