CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff's Office has found a food truck and charged a man in connection with its disappearance.

Christopher John Barwick, 41, was arrested in connection with the stolen "Wraps Around The World" truck as well as a number of other items including a $20,000 boat, a $6,000 U-Haul trailer, and a $15,000 boom lift, according to Charleston County Sheriff's Office spokesman Roger Antonio.

Barwicks charges include receiving stolen goods, grand larceny and shoplifting.

The truck was valued at $30,000. All the items were found at an address on Johns Island, Antonio said.

Anybody with more information about the case is asked to call detective Michael Thompson at 843-529-6202 or CrimeStoppers at 843-554-1111.

Tanarra Mason has owned and operated the "Wraps Around The World" food truck with her boyfriend, Matthew Taylor, for almost a year.

"We were getting ready to get somewhere with this," Mason said. "It was getting serious."

Mason said they had signed contracts with big events sponsored by Volvo and Blackbaud.

With big success on the horizon, Mason and Taylor were crushed when they found the truck missing.

"It's just horrible," Taylor said. "It's the worst thing I've ever been through.""

Mason said was particularly concerned because the food truck was the only way she and her boyfriend made a living.

"This is what we did to make our ends meet," Mason said. "It is how I support my family, my kids."

Mason was most concerned about continuing to care for her three children, who all helped with the truck as well.

"They know what's going on," Mason said. "They were a part of this. They helped out with this."
