Victim identified in two-vehicle crash involving wrong-way driver on I-526 EB

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The victim of a crash on I-526 has been identified.

Zachary Holcombe, 23, of Greenville has been identified as the wrong-way driver who was killed on I-526 EB when his vehicle collided with another traveling in the correct direction.

Four people in the other vehicle were hospitalized.

Charleston County Communications received multiple calls about a wrong-way driver traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-526, North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor said.
