MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Investigators have released pictures and video of a man suspected of shooting the manager of a restaurant in Mount Pleasant.
Chris Dixon, manager of the Tavern and Table, was shot Wednesday night during an armed robbery, according to Mount Pleasant police inspector Chip Googe.
Dixon is now recovering from surgery, according to employees at the restaurant.
Officers responded to the restaurant at 100 Church Street around 11:30 p.m. and found Dixon inside with a gunshot wound, according to Mount Pleasant police Inspector Chip Googe. He was transported to the hospital.
The suspect, who has not been located, entered the restaurant and demanded money. The suspect then fired a weapon during the robbery, striking Dixon before leaving the scene with money, Googe said.
Witnesses described the robber as being 5'8" in height and wearing a dark hoodie and red bandana on his face, an incident report states.
