NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - Investigators have arrested a second suspect in the armored car robbery which took place Tuesday in the Food Lion parking lot on Ashley Phosphate Road.

Robert Lee Brown II, 26, of Charleston is charged with armed robbery. His bond has already been denied, according to Major Tony Phinney with the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office.

The first suspect, 31-year-old Rashad Dingle of North Charleston, was arrested Thursday afternoon.  The apprehension of the suspects comes less than four days after investigators released surveillance photos.
It happened in the parking lot of the Food Lion in the 3700 block of Ashley Phosphate Road while the truck was servicing an ATM, according to Dorchester County Sheriff's Maj. Tony Phinney.

According to the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, there were two suspects both armed with handguns.

The suspects got an undisclosed amount of money and left the scene in what was believed to be a 2010 or newer Infinity sedan turning towards Dorchester Road on Ashley Phosphate, according to the sheriff's office.
