GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) -

Two men are facing charges after a four-month investigation into alleged prescription drug sales at a Georgetown restaurant.

Roberto Garcia and Felix Baizabol face a charge of dispensing prescription drugs without a license, according to a Facebook post on the Georgetown Police Department's page. Garcia was also charged with unlawfully possessing additional prescription drugs found by agents of the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit while executing a search warrant, the post states.

Police say the investigation began with a complaint that the owner and employees of the Los Arrieros restaurant and market on Church Street were selling prescription drugs and prescribing and instructing in their use from behind the counter.

DEU agents say they made the arrests after conducting several controlled purchases.

Garcia and Baizabol were being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
