Police: Suspect took off after armed robbery at N. Charleston gas station

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - North Charleston police are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery Tuesday night.

It happened at the Scotchman gas station on Otranto Road. A man armed with a handgun entered the business and demanded cash from the register, according to North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor.

Pryor said the clerk complied and the suspect left with cash from the register. The man had a black hoodie and black ski mask.
