Berkeley Co. deputies arrest 3, recover stolen property from alleged 'chop shop'

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Deputies investigating a report of stolen property in the Windwood area Friday arrested three people they say were operating a chop shop.

Leslie Driggers, Jr. , 26; Holly Snowden, 34; and Timothy Snowden, 37; were arrested for possession of stolen property and operating a chop shop, according to a post from the sheriff's office's Facebook page.

After executing several search warrants in the area of Snowden Lane and Farrell Street, deputies found vehicles, a tractor, a motorcycle, bushes, fireworks and several utility trailers, the post states.

Detectives are working to identify the owners of the following recovered property:

  • One golf cart stolen from Berkeley County
  • One John Deer tractor stolen from Berkeley County
  • Three utility trailers stolen from Berkeley County
  • Fireworks stolen from Berkeley County
  • One motorcycle stolen from North Charleston
  • One Chevrolet Tahoe stolen from Summerville
  • One Ford F150 stolen from Berkeley County
  • Two landscape bushes stolen from Berkeley County

The three were taken to the Hill Finklea Detention Center to await warrant service and a bond hearing.
