Bishop England quarterback Leo Albano signed his letter of intent on Friday to play at Notre Dame as a preferred walk-on.
Albano, who started for 4 seasons for the Battling Bishops, put up some of the biggest numbers in school history during his tenor. The QB compiled more than 7,500 yards of total offense and over 100 total touchdowns.
Now he'll get a chance to play for the most storied program in the history of college football.
He was one of 3 BE athletes to sign on Thursday joining Drew Bobey who signed with Johnson and Whales for women’s tennis, while Lleyton Dacuba signed with Queens for men’s tennis.
