CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Coast Guard transported a woman from a cruise ship off the coast of Charleston Thursday.

The MS Veendam, a Holland America Line cruise ship, was in the water approximately 50 miles off the coast when a 65-year-old woman was taken off the ship with lower leg pain, according to the Coast Guard.

She was transported to MUSC. Crews received the initial call at 7:31 p.m.
