CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - SCDOT has announced a lane closure on I-26 westbound which is scheduled to last two days and could affect traffic in the area.

The right lane of I-26 west will be closed between mile markers 219 and 217 from 7 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Friday morning because crews are putting up girders.

Barricades, cones, signs and flashing arrows will all be used in the work zone. The public is asked to exercise caution in the area.
