CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A Charleston police officer helped a young boy Monday morning.

Officer Taylor Graves was pumping gas at the Circle K at Highway 61 and Sycamore when she saw a young boy pushing his bike, according to Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis.

Graves asked the boy if he needed help and he said he did because he had a flat tire. When Graves asked him if he had any quarters for the air pump, the boy only showed her a nickel, Francis said.

She decided to go inside the store, get some quarters and help the boy anyways.
