MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - The 9/11 mobile exhibit is coming back to Mount Pleasant and Patriots Point.
It arrived in North Charleston Wednesday when first responders guided it from North Charleston city hall to Patriots Point.
The exhibit opens to the public from Thursday through Sunday at 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The opening ceremony is Thursday night at 7 p.m.
17 different law enforcement agencies participated in the escort Wednesday morning.
The exhibit honors the more than 3,000 people killed during the September 11, 2001 attacks. New York City firefighters serve as tour guides for guests, who can see a documentary video, steel beams from the World Trade Center, and listen to recordings of first-responder radio transmissions.
Admission into the exhibit is free and parking is $5
