MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - One man is facing charges after a chase in Mount Pleasant early Wednesday morning.
A deputy tried to stop William Weston in the Palmetto Armory parking lot when he took off, according to Charleston County Sheriff's Office spokesman Roger Antonio.
A chase ensued for several minutes and Mount Pleasant police put out stop sticks to try and stop Weston's vehicle, Antonio said.
The vehicle stopped on Chuck Dawley Boulevard and he ran on foot before deputies caught him, Antonio said. He's charged with failure to stop for blue lights and resisting arrest.
The call went out at 1:28 a.m. and ended in the area of Shadow Drive.
