NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A family of ducks is back together thanks to North Charleston first responders.

The Charleston International Airport tweeted a photo Friday morning of the family reunited after a rescue effort.

Airport officials say the ducklings fell through a storm drain cover while walking near the airport's cell phone waiting lot.

North Charleston firefighters and animal control officers, along with the airport's maintenance team came to their rescue, the tweet states.

Photos showed a North Charleston Firefighter inside the storm drain during the rescue.
