ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Three people died early Monday morning on I-95 northbound in Orangeburg County.

A 2011 Kia Soul was traveling north and hit an animal in the road, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Judd Jones. The car went off the left side of the road and into the median, hit a tree and caught fire, Jones said.

Everyone in the car, the driver and two passengers, died in the crash near mile marker 86, according to Jones.
