GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Deputies are searching for the owner of a truck in connection to a theft on Pawleys Island.

Investigators with the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office released a picture of a truck which was used in the theft of a dump trailer in the early morning hours on Tuesday.

"It was operated by a Caucasian or Hispanic male of average height and build, with a clean-shaven head," GCSO officials said.

According to the sheriff's office, the truck appears to be a single-cab 1999-2007 Chevrolet Silverado, pewter or champagne in color, with a long bed and aftermarket or painted black wheels.
