CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police have arrested a man they say exposed himself on three separate occasions in downtown Charleston.

Matthew David Dobie, 31, is facing three charges of indecent exposure.

Officers responded to the area of King Street just south of Calhoun Saturday around 4 p.m. in reference to a nude man inside a vehicle, according to Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis.

After a witness provided a description of the suspect and vehicle, the car was spotted traveling south on King Street and was stopped by police.

Detectives also connected Dobie to two other indecent exposure incidents. One happened on the afternoon of April 30th when two teenage girls saw a man exposing himself inside a vehicle on Rutledge Avenue between Morris and Cannon Streets, Francis said.

April 26th, three teenage girls reportedly saw a man exposing himself inside a vehicle on Rutledge Avenue near Cannon Street.
