Evan Sisk (Chester, S.C.) has been tabbed the Colonial Athletic Association Co-Pitcher of the Week after holding South Carolina to one hit in seven shutout innings last Wednesday, as the College of Charleston baseball team delivered a resounding 9-0 win over the Gamecocks.
Sisk allowed only one hit in seven scoreless innings and struck out five in the Cougars’ shutout victory over South Carolina. The junior southpaw faced the minimum in six of his seven frames, while working out of a bases-loaded jam in the fourth. Sisk now stands at 9-3 this season, including a 3-0 mark with a 0.00 ERA in 23.2 innings against Power Five foes.
The Cougars return to the diamond on Tuesday when they make the short trek to Joe Riley Park to take on The Citadel. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
