HOLLYWOOD, SC (WCSC) -

The lockdown prompted by a nearby traffic stop at a high school in Hollywood has been lifted.

Baptist Hill High School went into lockdown shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday as a precautionary measure, Charleston County deputies say.

It was lifted at approximately 10:20 a.m.

The lockdown followed a traffic stop near a home in the area. The subjects fled the scene, but deputies say there is no immediate threat to the school.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
