Former Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd and former Carolina Panthers running back Mike Tolbert signed autographs and took pictures with fans in Mt. Pleasant Sunday.
The pair were at Saltwater Cowboys restaurant on Shem Creek.
The event was the final part of a busy weekend for Tolbert. He held the Southern Redfish Cup-an in-shore fishing tournament-in Charleston as part of his SPADE foundation which raises money for underprivileged kids in single-family households.
Tolbert spoke about having Boyd and other famous athletes in town for the event saying, "Being able to have these type of people come support what I want to do, my passion..it's truly humbling. I'm truly grateful. But by no means are we done. We've got a lot of people to help and I'm ready to continue my passion."
The former Pro Bowl fullback is a free agent after spending last season with the Buffalo Bills.
