One transported to the hospital following shooting in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

One person has been transported to the hospital following a shooting in North Charleston Wednesday afternoon. 

Shortly after 3 p.m., officers responded to Tulip Street in reference to a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

 The victim was transported to MUSC for treatment after he flagged officers down in his driveway

Police are continuing the investigation.

    The Isle of Palms Public Safety Committee will be discussing the possibility of a shuttle that would run between the island and Mount Pleasant on Wednesday night. It’s not the first time they’ve discussed this. In the past, the city has found that people didn’t want to use it, because of all the beach items, like chairs and umbrellas, people would be bringing back and forth.
