NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - Police are questioning two people following a standoff at a North Charleston home Friday afternoon.

Shortly before 1 p.m., NCPD officers responded to a home in the 8000 block of North Red Maple Street for a verbal argument between a man and a woman.

"The female existed the home and advised officers that the male subject was inside and refused to come out," NCPD spokesman Spencer Pryor said.

A report states that after a standoff with police, the man left the home.

The call for the incident came in at 12:37 p.m.

Viewers say multiple police officers responded, and a helicopter was deployed to the area.
