MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) -

Mount Pleasant investigators say two of five people shown in surveillance images were not involved in a shoplifting case.

Police released images of five people they were trying to identify Monday.

But on Tuesday, Inspector Chip Googe said investigators made that determination during the course of their investigation.

Police continue to try to identify three women suspected of shoplifting more than $500 from the Ulta Beauty at 1740 Towne Centre Way, according to Mount Pleasant Police spokesman Chip Googe.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jenkins at 843-884-4176 or gjenkins@tompsc.com. Those who want anonymity should contact CrimeStoppers of the Lowcountry at 843-554-1111.
