Charleston mayor John Tecklenburg in Boston for mayoral conference

BOSTON, MA (WCSC) - Charleston mayor John Tecklenburg traveled north over the weekend for the 86th annual U.S. Conference of Mayors.

The event wraps up Monday in Boston, Massachusetts, where 250 mayors from across the country have gathered to discuss a wide range of topics.

Infrastructure, cybersecurity, school safety, immigration, automation and the economic future of cities were just a few topics on the table.

Columbia, South Carolina mayor Steve Benjamin is the president of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
