SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Lowcountry investigators have identified two wanted people accused of stealing a bag at a McDonald's which contained a passport for a tourist.

Deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office are looking for 61-year-old Karen Whack (aka Karen Webb or Karen Moore) and 57-year-old Pierre Benet Matthews (aka Pere Benet Matthews) who are known to frequent the Summerville area of Berkeley County.

They're both wanted for petit larceny with enhancement.

According to the sheriff's office, on June 19,  two Chinese tourists had stopped for a meal at McDonald's in Summerville to get a meal on their way to New York when the man accidentally left his bag behind containing his passport and money.

Authorities say the couple that was eating and sitting next to them saw the bag, took it, and left the restaurant without any attempt to locate the owners.
