CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - There's a lot of excitement leading up to Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing.
At $512 million, it would be the fifth largest jackpot in history. A lot of $2 tickets will be sold Tuesday and if a single winner chose a cash payout, they'll take home $303 million.
It's fun considering the possibility of winning so much for so little. But remember, you're more likely to be hit from part of a falling plane than hitting the big jackpot, more likely to be hit by a meteor, we're more likely to win an Oscar, more likely to win an Olympic gold medal, four times more likely to be hit by lightning, even more likely giving birth to identical quadruplets.
That's quite the high odds…but still, there's always that one chance.
What we do know is we can't win if we don't play. How much time do we have? Good luck!
