DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Roughly four hours before Hurricane Florence made its landfall near Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, a Dorchester County nightclub with a history of issues was cited for staying open too late.

An officer on duty in the parking lot of the 20 Grand nightclub in the 10100 block of Dorchester Road saw a man yelling at club staff shortly after 2 a.m., according to the incident report.

The officer asked the man to leave, but as he did, the officer also saw other people still inside drinking beer, the report stated. The officer also stated in the report that he had previously warned the club's manager about being open past 2 a.m. on Sept. 4.

On August 19, Dorchester County deputies were called to the club for a report of a shooting and fire.
