HOBBIES, INTERESTS, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
My prized possession is a Buick Riviera (a soon-to-be-classic). I enjoy daily visits to the gym, walking the beach and learning the ropes of home improvement with the purchase of my first house in West Ashley. I'm an usher at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus and I emcee local events on behalf of Live 5. I'm also an avid follower of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
FAMILY:
My cat, Stella Blue. (she's named after the Grateful Dead song.) Mom and Dad live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My little brother, Jeff, lives in North Hollywood, California.
FAVORITE BOOKS AND MUSIC:
Books: the Bible, and Gone With The Wind and anything from commentator Bill O'Reilly.
Music: Country, classic soul, classic rock, and lots of news/talk.
LIKES BEST ABOUT THE LOWCOUNTRY: You can't beat that down home, Southern hospitality. The weather ain't bad either!
MOST INTERESTING ASSIGNMENTS: Covering the governorship of George W. Bush in Austin, Texas. An interview with famous radio personality Howard Stern, a series of reports on basic training in the Marine Corp at Parris Island, and reporting from the Carolina coastline during Hurricanes Isabelle, Bonnie, and Floyd.
