BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - State Probation agents are looking for 53 year old Damian Guzman. Guzman is wanted for a Probation Violation, after pleading guilty to Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature.
Police say Guzman stabbed a man during an agrument at the Sunrise Mobile Home Park on Redbank Road in Goose Creek.
"Mr. Guzman stabbed an individual in the lower abdomen following a verbal altercation," State Probation and Parole Agent David Fashion Jr. said. "The victim is lucky. He was taken to MUSC, and I think he recovered from the injuries he received."
Guzman could have gotten four years in prison for his guilty plea, but a judge gave him a break and instead gave him one year of probation.
"He changed his residence without being given permission. He has not met his monetary obligations. He didn't show proof of employment. He didn't do much of anything," Fashion said. "Considering the break that he got, he should have reported for the year."
Guzman has no prior criminal record, but authorities say he should be considered dangerous. He stands 5'2" and weighs 140 pounds.
