DORCHESTER COUNTY (WCSC) - A bus was involved in a crash early Thursday morning in Dorchester County.

Children were on the bus when it was rear-ended on Bacons Bridge Road around 8:35 a.m., according to DD2 spokeswoman Pat Raynor. The bus, headed to Ashley Ridge High School, was stopped and turning onto Bacons Bridge Road when a Land Rover SUV crashed into the back of the bus, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Matt Southern.

No students were injured, Raynor said.
