Cathedral Academy wins state championship

(WCSC) - The Cathedral Academy girls volleyball team captured the SCISA 1A state championship Monday night at Wilson Hall in Sumter.
The Lady Generals topped Wardlaw Academy in straight sets for their first state title since 2012 and second overall.
It was a tight match in each set but Cathedral never faltered, winning 25-22, 25-18, 25-20.
Jacquelyn Adams had a team-high 14 kills while Katie Kerce added 11 for Cathedral. Anna Grace Crosby had 37 assists.
