Coroner identifies man killed in crash on I-26 in Berkeley County

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - One man was killed in a crash Monday night on I-26.
Charles Dennis, 48, of Daniel Island was driving east on the highway near mile-marker 187 when his car ran off the road and hit several trees.
Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury ruled the death accidental and Dennis was not wearing a seatbelt. Salisbury and the South Carolina Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
