CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel head football coach Brent Thompson has announced the signing of 14 future cadet-athletes who will attend The Citadel and begin playing football for the Bulldogs in the fall of 2019.

The list includes five linebackers, three defensive backs, three defensive linemen, two offensive linemen and one running back.

Eight of the incoming recruits are from South Carolina, while three are from Georgia, two from Texas and one from Japan.

Remus Bulmer, RB, 5-7, 185, Missouri City, Texas (Sam Houston State)

Graduate transfer from Sam Houston State…will enroll in January…carried the ball 357 times for 2,117 yards and 15 touchdowns in career…added 30 catches for 234 yards and one touchdown…ran for 701 yards and three touchdowns as a junior…had best statistical year as a sophomore, running for 901 yards and eight touchdowns on 144 carries, earning Second-Team All-Southland Conference honors…played prep ball for head coach Brett Sniffin at Ridge Point High School…selected as district MVP and First-Team All-District 23-5A…second-team all-state selection…named to the Houston Chronicle Top 100…rushed for 1,938 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior.

Logan Billings, LB, 6-0, 200, Spartanburg, South Carolina (Boiling Springs)

Played for head coach Rick Tate at Boiling Springs High School…two-time All-Region 2-5A selection…named team defensive MVP as a junior and senior...selected to participate in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas…preseason all-state selection…recorded 89 tackles, 62 solo, and eight tackles-for-loss as a junior…earned all-region honors in track as a junior.

Logan Braucht, LB, 6-0, 212, Waycross, Georgia (Ware County)

Played for head coach Franklin Stephens at Ware County High School…helped the Gators to an 8-4 record and the second round of the playoffs…finished senior season with 110 tackles, 71 solo, nine tackles-for-loss and seven sacks…selected as the Region 2-5A defensive player of the year…added three forced fumbles and three blocked field goals…posted 56 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss and six sacks as a junior.

Andy Davis, DB, 6-0, 200, Canton, Georgia (Creekview)

Played for head coach Adam Carter at Creekview High School…helped the Grizzlies to a 12-1 record and a regional championship as a senior…selected as the Region 6-AAAAAA defensive player of the year…named the defensive player of the game in the county Senior Bowl…two-time all-county and all-region selection.

Tereis Drayton, OL, 6-2, 270, Charleston, South Carolina (James Island)

Played for head coach Ike Allred at James Island High School…participated in the North-South All-Star game.

Nick Grier, DL, 6-3, 250, Snellville, Georgia (South Gwinnett)

Played for head coach Steven Davenport at South Gwinnett High School…posted 14.0 tackles-for-loss and 2.5 sacks as a senior.

Robert Harbor, DL, 6-0, 290, Richmond, Texas (Foster)

Played for head coach Shaun McDowell at Foster High School…helped lead the Falcons to the Region 3 championship game as a senior…finished senior season with 75 tackles, 12 sacks, 13 tackles-for-loss, 13 quarterback hurries and two forced fumbles…earned second-team all-area honors as a defensive lineman and second-team all-district laurels as an offensive lineman following junior season…posted 85 tackles, eight sacks and five forced fumbles…Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling state champion at 285 pounds.…rated a two-star prospect by and…named to the Lone Star Prospects Top 50 Defensive Tackles list.

Jake Kenison, DB, 6-1, 190, Simpsonville, South Carolina (Hillcrest)

Played for head coach Greg Porter at Hillcrest High School…three-year letterwinner for the Rams…all-state and all-region selection in track and field…member of the state championship and school-record holding 4x200m relay team.

Jay Lagroon, LB, 6-3, 200, Anderson, South Carolina (T.L. Hanna)

Played for head coach Jeff Herron at T.L. Hanna High School…helped the Yellow Jackets to a14-1 record and a berth in the state championship game…recorded 58 tackles, five tackles-for-loss and two sacks…added 523 yards and seven touchdowns on 55 carries, and nine catches for 155 yards…posted 12 solo tackles and three tackles-for-loss as a junior…also rushed for three touchdowns and had two more receiving touchdowns…rated at two-star prospect by 247Sports.

Michael McDowell, LB, 6-1, 215, Boiling Springs, South Carolina (Boiling Springs)

Played for head coach Rick Tate at Boiling Springs High School…earned All-Region 2-5A honors as a senior…also selected as tem MVP…selected to participate in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas…recorded 59 tackles, including eight tackles-for-loss, as a junior…helped Bulldogs capture the upper state championships as a sophomore.

Antareus Pressley, DB, 6-0, 160, Anderson, South Carolina (Belton-Honea Path)

Played for head coach Russell Blackston at Belton-Honea Path High School…two-time all-region selection…named the team’s best defensive skill player as a junior and senior.

Nic Rogers, DL, 6-1, 230, Columbia, South Carolina (Blythewood)

Played for head coach Jason Seidel at Blythewood High School…recorded 51 tackles, nine sacks, five forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and nine quarterback hurries as a senior…also a state qualifier in the shot put and discus.

Stephon Stokes, OL, 6-2, 295, Greenville, South Carolina (Greenville)

Played for head coach David Crane at Greenville High School…earned Region 1-4A honors as a senior…named the GSH Lineman of the Year…selected to play in the North-South All-Star game…recipient of the Captain’s Award.

Hayden Williamson, LB, 6-1, 210, Okinawa, Japan (Kubasaki)

Played for head coach Fred Bales at Kubasaki High School…two-time team captain…finished senior season with 80 tackles, three forced fumbles and a pair of touchdowns in just six games…Tomadachi Bowl nominee…father, Curt, is a 1989 Citadel graduate.
