One person in custody after shooting on College Park Road

LADSON, SC (WCSC) - One person is in custody following a shooting on College Park Road in Ladson Friday afternoon.
Authorities say one person was injured in the incident.
It happened in the area of College Park Road and Highway 78.
One woman driving on College Park Road at the time of the shooting said she heard it happen.
“And as soon as I was trying to merge ahead of a vehicle I heard gunshots,” Channing McKendry said. “And it was loud. It was really super close—at least two or three vehicles behind me.”
Motorists reported a large police presence and a traffic back up in the area as officers investigated the scene.
